CityPOV brings a truly Canadian Community Perspective through Local News, Census and Events
Having the CityPOV App is like having each community in Canada on your iPhone - always accessible and current. Be notified instantly about the latest news, events and stats as they happen. Follow your family, friends and like-minded people. Save and sort your communities by what matters to you - schools, food, entertainment or affordability.
Be involved as much as you wish (contribute and help improve the neighbourhood where you live) or be an observer (following the community where you grew up) - how you interact with each area you work, live and play is up to you.
Moving? Vacationing? or Looking for something to do close by? With CityPOV, the answer is in the app!
We are looking to inspire Canadians to become active members and play a part in strengthening communities both online and off.
CityPOV should be written as one word. The "C" and "POV" are always capitalized. "POV" stands for Point Of View. - Correct Format: CityPOV
Your Community First! - As a company, every decision we make with development, partners, data and moderating must be made for the betterment of community!
We ask that you please use the provided screenshots to insure our user's privacy. You are not permitted to share any CityPOV user profile or personal information without their permission. If you are preparing your own media of the CityPOV APP or Website, please let us review before publishing.

He has worked with a range of organizations including ICBC (RoadSense Tips), One Percent Realty, Concord Pacific, Wurldtech, Radiant Communications and Webtech Wireless.
Co-founder and CEO of CityPOV Interactive Inc., Tim’s unique blend of business acumen, marketing expertise and IT knowledge provides him with the valuable ability to identify business objectives, as well as to direct and clearly communicate the intricacies of how technology can be used to support those objectives. He understands the importance of meeting or exceeding goals and staying on time and on budget with projects and initiatives. A direct result of his skills, knowledge and expertise is that Tim has established a strong track record of delivering measureable results and providing clients and investors with strong return-on-investment.
Prior to CityPOV, Tim co-founded and managed client strategies for Portal 80 Multimedia Inc., and SocialProof Marketing. He graduated from the Peter Thomson Centre for Venture Development and the Bodwell Internet School.
In the moments when he’s not involved in business or tech planning and development, Tim is out exploring the beauty of the West Coast and can be found on the water in his Zodiac or in the wild B.C. backcountry, treading “lightly” in his Jeep.
CityPOV Interactive Inc.’s co-founder and creative lead, Andrew Ohara, has had more than two decades of experience as a creative director, digital designer, programmer and in working with UI and UX. After graduating from UBC with a degree in engineering, he realized that his entrepreneurial spirit was strong and that his real passion was in bringing together marketing and technology as a business tool.
Andrew brings a blend of left brain/right brain thinking to his role as creative lead. This results in the CityPOV team delivering a technically sophisticated, visually appealing and user-friendly experience that inspires users to authentically and interactively connect with their community – and in a range of ways. Andrew’s creative talent and commitment to innovation is supported by a pragmatic approach that reflects the organization’s business goals.
A creative entrepreneur, prior to CityPOV, Andrew co-founded and managed several companies including Portal 80 Multimedia Inc., SocialProof Marketing and Big Bucks Games. He has a Bachelor of Applied Science, Bioresource Engineering degree from UBC and extensive experience working with clients in the real estate and tech sectors.
Andrew grew up in the small fishing village of Steveston, B.C. and still lives on the same street that he grew up on with his wife and two young children. He has a strong commitment to fostering a sense of community wherever he goes, and continues to uphold the old-school, connected approach of neighbours knowing each other and helping out when needed.
